Two second half goals saw Loughgall, who also had Stuart Mallen sent off, fall to a determined Dergview at Lakeview Park.
The first half provided extremely little chances with ex-Loughgall striker Aaron Patterson going closest on the stroke of half-time when his 25 yard free-kick was well held by goalkeeper Gareth Buchanan.
Four minutes into the second period Patterson netted after he robbed Steven Ferguson of the ball, raced clear and slotted confidently home from inside the penalty area.
Loughgall’s task was made even more difficult when left-back Stuart Mallen was shown a straight red card for a late challenge on Dergview winger Darren Higginbottom on 66 minutes.
On 74 minutes the visitors doubled their advantage amid tentative defending when John Edgar went unchallenged in the penalty area before the ball reached Nathan Cashel who fired home from close range.
Loughgall: Buchanan, Taylor, Mallen, Hudson, Ferguson, Carson (Gareth Henderson 90m), Taveres (Stretton 84m), Dallas, Gary Henderson, Ryan, Dane (Drylie 73m).
